Delete your account

You can delete your DawaScout account and all your data yourself, from inside the app, at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

1. How to delete in the app

1. Open the DawaScout app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings, then Profile under Account information.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
4. Read the confirmation, then tap Delete permanently.

You are signed out of the app as soon as the deletion completes.

2. Before you delete

If you have an active medicine request, order or pharmacy reservation, finish or cancel it first, then delete your account.

3. What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in details.
• Your profile: display name, phone number and profile photo.
• Your requests and the prescription photos attached to them.
• Your reservations.
• Ratings linked to your account.
• Your notifications and your devices' notification tokens.

4. What we keep

We keep only anonymous records: an audit entry that the account was deleted and the status history of past orders (for example "cancelled" or "collected"). They contain no name, email address, phone number, medicine names, prescriptions or anything else that identifies you, and are kept to protect the service and prevent abuse. Nothing else from your account is kept.

5. Pharmacy and staff accounts

Pharmacy accounts and pharmacy staff accounts cannot be deleted in the app. To delete one, email support@dawascout.com from the address registered to the account.

6. If you cannot access the app

Email support@dawascout.com from the email address registered to your account and ask us to delete it. We process requests within 30 days.
